Yumm-E-Thyme believes that  A healthy school lunch provides sound nutrition to establish a lifetime of healthy habits, as well as contribute to nurturing bright minds by fueling active bodies. Our company provides healthy, all natural, cooked from scratch, local and sustainable food for children. Yumm-E-Thyme put an emphasis on foods that are familiar to children, while ensuring excellence of taste and an optimal nutritional food experience.  Here at Yumm-E-Thyme we create a healthy lunch menu based off of The Nutrition Source’s Kid’s Healthy Eating Plate, with spaces for fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy proteins. Our recipes are designed to meet and exceed the USDA Final Rules of the Healthy & Hunger-Free Kids Act, and local city and state meal requirements

• We start early in the morning, preparing all our meals from scratch using the freshest ingredients.  Working with local farmers and distributors, we select the best ingredients for our seasonal  menus.  Our goal is to help expand young palates by introducing them to healthy, kid friendly, and great tasting meals.

• All our meals are developed by chefs and nutritionists with input from kids, parents and educators.

• Are designed to meet and exceed USDA standards.

• Use organic and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible

• Use healthy whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, and lean meats

• Never use high-fructose corn syrup, processedor fried foods
